This refractor telescope (also called a lens telescope) is a nice telescope for the beginning astronomer. It comes with an equatorial mount (instead of a alt-azimuth mount) which is usually only available for the more expensive telescopes. It comes with 4 eyepieces including 3 Kellner eyepieces and a Barlow lens which allows you to increase the magnification of this telescope.

The telescope will show you great views of the moon, the rings surrounding Saturn, details of Jupiter as well as more deep sky objects as double stars.
