This refractor telescope (also called a lens telescope) is excellent to start your hobby of astronomy. With a 90mm aperture and a 900mm focal length this telescope is able to gather 200 times more light than the naked eye. You will be able to observe craters of the moon and the rings of Saturn as well as the great red spot of Jupiter. Watch the seasons of Mars and find Saturn, it is possible with this telescope. Your observations will be much better and many times brighter than the first refractor telescope that was put into use by Galileo some 400 years ago.
